Poolside & Paving

LUXAPOOL Poolside & Paving is a water-based, rubberised, non-slip coating system that is easy to apply and provides a safe and durable decorative surface for most small pebble, concrete and paved areas. It may be easily varied during application to a range of ‘non slip’ effects.

Areas where LUXAPOOL Poolside & Paving can be used include:
• Pool surrounds
• Decks and patios
• Balconies
• Boat decks, pontoons
• Wharf and landing dock surfaces
• Steps, stairs and walkways

LUXAPOOL Poolside & Paving is available in a range of 15 stylish colours and will adhere to most mineral surfaces including, pebblecrete, aged concrete, cement render, masonry, fibre-cement sheet and unglazed tiling.

Coverage: Allow 1L per m² total coverage

Preparation: Eco FriendlyUse of Acrylmeric Superseal Primer is recommended as the first coat of a systems approach to ensure maximum adhesion to such surfaces. A clear glaze is also available for improved stain resistance and easier maintenance.

REMINDER – You must apply one (1) coat of ACRYLMERIC Superseal Primer to all surfaces (if not previously painted with Poolside & Paving) before applying the Poolside & Paving.

Acrylmeric Superseal Primer is a transparent, solvent based acrylic resin solution designed to penetrate and seal substrates - it provides a uniform surface for over-coating with Acrylmeric Membranes.

Acrylmeric Superseal Primer ensures excellent adhesion to most substrates, eliminates uneven absorbtion of subsequent coatings and minimises the possibility of loss of adhesion and efflorescence resulting from the leaching of residual alkali from the substrate. Usually requiring only one coat, Acrylmeric Superseal Primer is suitable for internal and external application on surfaces such as masonry, concrete, cement render, brickwork, block walls, columns and beams, etc. Acrylmeric Superseal Primer is the partner product for priming/sealing substrates prior to applying any of the Acrylmeric Membranes.

Ideal for use as a primer for all Luxapool Poolside and Paving applications

Coverage: 6 - 8m²/Litre   =    1 x 4L tin per 24 - 32m²

For additional resistance to soiling and for ease of long term surface cleaning of Luxapool Poolside and Paving, apply a finishing coat of Colormaker Unicryl HD Clear Glaze. Application of such will also enhance the final colour effect and reduce ‘blocking’ of heavy items later placed on the surface. Apply using short or medium nap roller to thoroughly wet the surface of the underlying profile.
